- Attorney Dan Melnick holds extensive experience in law, focusing on driving under the influence (DUI) cases and criminal defense since the early 1980s. Dan Melnick began his law studies following a brief career in the film industry. Melnick entered the program at the San Fernando Valley College of Law (now the University of West Los Angeles School of Law), completing his Juris Doctor in 1978. Initially, Melnick worked in labor relations law, serving out of a firm in Chicago, Illinois. In 1983, however, he returned to Los Angeles and found his calling in criminal defense, which he continues to practice today. He enjoys working directly with people and appearing in court. Melnick also values the fact that his position allows him to defend “the little guy” from larger interests. Comfortable in any scenario, Dan Melnick welcomes clients of all backgrounds.
